Tanya Burr Cosmetics

If you don't know who Tanya Burr is, you need to go check her out on youtube asap! She's an absolute sweetheart.
I've followed her for years now and was so happy for her when she launched her lipglosses, although I'm not gloss wearer myself and I ended up buying most of her nailpolish collection when that came out.
She relaunched her collection in August 2015 and has added the cutest eyeshadow, brow and blush pallettes along with lashes and of course I had to get a few bits and pieces.

I got the Fairytail and Galaxy eyeshadow pallettes and Fairytail has become my go-to travel pallette, it goes with me everywhere!
The packaging is super cute and girly with a magnetic close which makes it easy to travel with and the embossed hearts and stars is just gorgeous, although they disappear after only a few swipes with a brush.

Fairytail is warmtoned with 3 matte shades and 1 shimmer.
Cream tea is a matte, very pigmented cream chade. It's great to lightly dust over the entire lid as a base or pack on to brighten the lid or browbone.
Velvet Cushion is a lovely matte, warm brown. I use it either as a transition colour or to depen the crease, depending on the look.
Alohamora is a slightly cooler, silvery shimmer shade that I swipe all over the lid for a bit of drama. It goes really well with my blue/gray/green-ish eyes and the swatch below does it no justice. It's much prettier in real life.
Witches Cat is a matte black that I usually use as a smokey liner and to darken the lashline and outer v.

Galaxy is cooltoned, shimmery pallette that suits my skin best during winter. You can really create some highlighted drama with this one!
Snowflake is as the name suggests; a snowy white shimmer. It's great for intense inner corner highlight and can e dusted lightl on the browbone.
Moonlight is a stunning, silver shimmer. I love it as a centerlid pop or inner corner highlight, but I have also used as cheekbone highlighter and on top of Colourpop Echo.
Stormy sky is a mauvy matte and the most buttery of them all. I love it in the crease.
Starry Night is a buttery black with silver glitter. It looks gurgeous in the pan, but the glitter barely transfers to the lid, unless I pack it on with a wet brush to make a black smokey eye. Maybe I should try using it as a liner?

I also got a couple of nailpolishes from the relaunch because I just can't resist a soft lilac or gray and I wanted to compare Red Ridinghood.

The new Red Ridinghood is a teensy tad brighter than the old, less bluetoned, but it applies and layers better, I think. You can also see the colour difference slightly in the bottle when put side by side and I have to admit, I love the new design.

Fairy Godmother is a pastel lilac and Duvet Day is a very light gray. I've worn those two on turn all spring, completely neclecting the rest of my collection of spring colours.
They're just so pretty!
They both do need at least 2 layers to cover and need a good base coat to last more than 3 days without chipping, but they're totally worth it.

That's my Tanya Burr collection for now, but I do fully intent to get several more nailpolishes and I can't wait to see what more she'll come out with :)

Take care!
