As you might've notied, at the very top of this blog it states that I'm a cat owner. I've had various pets throughout my life(birds, fish, snakes, a dog, mice etc.), but for the past 8 years, it's just been cats.
Ever since I was a child, I've always cared a lot about animals and I haven't been very old when I first announced my dislike for fur in fashion and concern about leather. and when I started wearing makeup and my mother offered me some of her fancy, very expensive makeup brushes I refused because they were real hair brushes. To this day, I've only ever owned synthetic brushes, my love for Real Techniques being common knowledge to anyone who knows me.
And that's what got me thinking; Why am I so against real hair brushes but don't even bother to check my eyeliner?

Now I've been through my whole collection and the verdict is; I own dissapointingly few cruelty-free products.. And to my horror, MAC and OPI is not amongst them!
My beloved Paint Pots and purple polishes are also sold in China who still require animal testing on foreign products. That means even if a products is created cruelty free in, lets say Denmark, if it's sold in China will have to undergo animal testing by the Chinese goverment. You can read all about that on Humane Society International and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

I've taken down all posts for now as the majority was about non-cruelty-free brands and from now on I'll only post about cruelty-free brands and products.
I can't wait to share all my new finds and experiences with you all!
Lots of Love
